Box Score NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT men's tennis team kept its season-opening win streak alive with a 4-3 victory over visiting FDU on Sunday at the Naimoli Tennis Center.
The Highlanders are now 8-0 on the season while FDU is now 2-4.

Marco Matteucci. "Conference Championships are won by being able to deliver in back to back days and not at 100%."
NJIT went ahead 1-0 early winning the doubles point thanks to a 6-2 win at #1 from
Pablo Perez Ramos and
Josh Smith and a 7-6 victory at #3 by
Wil Jenkins and
Samuel Townes.
The Highlanders and Knights then split the six singles matches, giving NJIT just enough wins stay unbeaten. Perez Ramos remained undefeated at #1 singles with a 6-4, 6-4 win and
Amine El Kholti rolled to a 6-4, 6-1 victory at #3, before Jenkins clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-4 win at #5.
"I can't be any prouder with how much we are maturing and improving," added Matteucci.
The Highlanders will look to make it seven in a row on Friday when they host Navy at 3pm back in the Naimoli Tennis Center.
