VESTAL, NY - Three NJIT men's tennis players finished the weekend undefeated as the team competed in the three-day NateRentals.Com Mock Duals, which were hosted by Binghamton on both indoor and outdoor courts.
Oscar Callo von Platen,
Pavel Petrov, and
Wil Jenkins all went unblemished as Callo von Platen and Petrov each went 3-0 in singles action, while Jenkins was 2-0.Â
NJIT took on Monmouth Friday, winning two of four doubles matches and five of seven singles matches against the Hawks.
Pablo Perez Ramos and
Nejc Skorjanc joined their three unbeaten opponents in the win column against Monmouth.
On Saturday, NJIT faced host Binghamton and won three of four in doubles, while splitting six singles matches.Â
In Sunday's finale vs. Army, the Highlanders dominated Army West Point, winning two of three in doubles action and five of six singles matches.Â
The Highlanders will split their squad this weekend with players going to either New Haven for the Yale Invitational or Philadelphia for the Drexel Invitational.Â
