DURHAM, NH - The NJIT women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets by America East Conference foe New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon in Lundholm Gymnasium.
The Wildcats won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-21, respectively, before coming from behind to take the third set 26-24.
Adriana Goetz-Morales (10 kills) and
Elley Torres (nine kills) paced the Highlanders offensive attack, while
Doga Emil led the squad defensively with 15 kills.
Juliana Impaglia and
Maddie Dennis once again split the setting duties for the Highlanders, finishing with 16 and 14 assists, respectively.
Taylor West finished with four blocks as each team recorded six in the match.
NJIT will look to get back in the win column on Friday when it takes on Bryant in another America East road match. First serve is slated for 7pm.
