VESTAL, NY - The NJIT women's volleyball team was defeated by host Binghamton in America East action on Sunday afternoon at the Events Center.
The first-place Bearcats took the first set 25-14, before taking the second 25-15, and third 25-13.
Adriana Goetz-Morales was once again impressive offensively, recording eight kills with just one error in 16 attacks for a .438 hitting percentage.
Doga Emil finished with 11 digs to lead the NJIT defense, while
Rowan Schreiber and
Cami Augustine led the efforts at the net with a pair of block assists.
The Highlanders will return home for their final two home matches of the season next weekend. NJIT will take on New Hampshire on Friday at 6pm and Bryant on Sunday at 1pm. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+ and Sunday's match will be the team's annual Senior Day.
