SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The NJIT women's volleyball team was topped by Dartmouth in a non-conference matchup hosted by Seton Hall at Walsh Gymnasium on Friday.
The Highlanders battled in the first set before ultimately falling 26-24 and then dropped the second and third sets, 25-14 and 25-11, respectively.Â
Adriana Goetz-Morales and
Asher Vallone each led NJIT with six kills, while
Courtney Branch had five of her own.
Juliana Impaglia dished out a match-high-tying 23 assists.
Defensively, Kaitlyn Bliesner was a force at the net with five blocks (two solo) and
Doga Emil finished with a team-best eight digs.
NJIT wraps up play at the Seton Hall Classic on Saturday with two more matches. The Highlanders will take on Central Connecticut State at 10am and the host Pirates at 7pm.
