NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT women's basketball team will return home and welcome New Hampshire on Wednesday, February 9.

Game Information 
Tip-off is slated for 7pm inside NJIT's Wellness and Events Center and for those not able to attend the game can watch televised on ESPN+ with in-game statistics available on NJITHighlanders.com.  

All-Time Series
New Hampshire leads the all-time series, 4-1.

Last season, NJIT captured its first America East Conference victory Saturday afternoon led by senior Ellyn Stoll and sophomore Kenna Squier's game-high 19 points en route to a 78-57 victory over New Hampshire at Lundholm Gymnasium.

The win for NJIT is the first of the 2020-21 season, first in the America East since joining the league in July 2020 and first all-time over the Wildcats.

10 Wins for the Highlanders
The 10 wins for the Highlanders are the most since the 2016-17 season when NJIT finished with 11.   Competing in its second season of the America East, the Highlanders have set a new mark with five wins with a month and half of basketball left in conference action.

The 10 wins is the third most wins in the NJIT DI era (2016-17 season (11 wins).  The 16 wins in 2012-13 is the highest wins total in the Division I era (began 2006-07).

Highlander Hits
NJIT looks to snap a three-game skid on Wednesday, hosting New Hampshire at 7pm and get back into the win column.

The Highlanders, which started out 4-0 in the America East NJIT started off the season 4-0 in conference play for the first time in the NJIT Division I era, defeated the top two teams in the preseason poll after being picked 8th. NJIT's five-game winning streak snapped by UAlbany on January 15.

Squier leads NJIT in scoring at 10.8 points per game while Ellyn Stoll and Lyzi Litwinko join Squier in double-figures at 10.4 and 10.3 respectively.  Litwinko paces the Highlanders with a team-high 6.8 rebounds, which ranks sixth in the league. 

Stoll, NJIT's three-point threat as she ranked fifth in the league with 1.7 makes from beyond the arc per game and has combined for a total of 34 this season.  Stoll ranks second all-time in the NJIT Division I era with 194 three-pointers made.

NJIT ranks fifth in the America East in both scoring (56.8) and sixth in scoring defense (61.5) while leading the conference at (4.45) blocks per game.

Next Up
NJIT will play a pair of games on the road, first visiting Hartford on Saturday, February 12 at 2pm and UMass Lowell on Wednesday, February 16 at 7pm.
