NEWARK, N.J. — Former NJIT women's soccer standout Neema Liverpool has recently been selected to compete for the Guyana Women's Senior National Team during the team's current CONCACAF Women's Championship Qualifier schedule.

Guyana shut out Dominica, 4-0, in their first match on February 16 and will take on Turks & Caicos on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.

Livepool competed for the Highlanders from 2015-2018, appearing in 65 matches (28 starts) and scoring nine goals, including three game winners. As a senior in 2018, the Plainfield native helped lead NJIT to its program-best 11-win season and a No. 2 seed in the ASUN Tournament and her five goal season in 2016 is still tied for the second-most in a season in Highlander Division I history.
