NEWARK, NJ - It will be a busy weekend at the Naimoli Tennis Center as the NJIT men's tennis team hosts Monmouth and Binghamton on Friday and Sunday, respectively, while the women will welcome Binghamton to the Brick City on Saturday.
The NJIT men enter Friday's match vs. Monmouth with a 1-2 record and are coming off a tight, 4-3 defeat at Army West Point last weekend. The Highlanders did win their only home match so far this season, defeating LIU 4-3 at the Naimoli Tennis Center on January 30. NJIT's match against the Hawks gets underway at 4pm Friday and Sunday's match against the Bearcats will begin at 1pm.
The Highlanders women's team will look to continue their impressive start to the 2022 season on Saturday at 1pm. So far this season, the squad boasts a 3-2 record with wins over Big Ten foe Rutgers, FDU, and Georgetown.

Both teams have first year coaches as
Marco Matteucci is in his first season on the men's side and
Olaya Garrido-Rivas is in her first season leading the women's team.
