HACKENSACK, NJ–Fifth-year Marina Arrese posted a perfect 13-0 record in women's epee Sunday afternoon, competing at the FDU Invitational.

As a team, NJIT picked up four wins over Hunter (22-4), Yeshiva (22-5), Drew (18-9), Wagner (17-8) and dropped a close three-point decision contest to NYU (15-12).

In addition to Arrese, Paula Zugasti recorded an 8-1 mark and Dominika Pawlowska notching a 7-2 record.

Freshman Elena Fernandez Negron went 9-4 on the foil strip while sophomore Cassandra Sehic led the saber squad going 9-0.

NJIT will return to action on February 23 when the Highlanders host Fairleigh Dickinson at 8am.
