VILLANOVA, PA — The NJIT men's swimming and diving team returned to action after nearly two weeks off from competition for the first of two meets this weekend. The Highlanders traveled to Pennsylvania to face the Villanova Wildcats on Friday evening and the two teams replicated last season's score in another 153-147 win for the Wildcats despite an excellent Highlander effort that saw the visitors claim wins in over half the events (nine of 16).

NJIT took the top three spots in the 200 Breast, as Matthew Bevan (2:08.76), Peter Kutuzov (2:09.39) and Andrew Lucky (2:09.77) went 1-2-3 in the event
