ALBANY, NY--UAlbany topped visiting NJIT 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-12) Friday evening in America East women's volleyball action at University Gym.

Junior Adriana Goetz-Morales led NJIT with seven kills followed by sophomore Elley Torres (5) and freshman Ines Varela (3) and senior Udo Nwosu (3).

Setter Juliana Impaglia piled up 18 assists and added five digs for the visiting Highlanders.

Defensively, Torres paced NJIT with nine digs and four total blocks (one solo; three assists) while Varela added three block assists.

NJIT will close out its 2021 America East Conference road schedule when the Highlanders visit Binghamton on Sunday, October 31.  First spike is set for 1pm on ESPN+.

The Highlanders will play its final three matches at home inside NJIT's Wellness and Events Center, hosting St. Francis Brooklyn (Nov. 3), Stony Brook (Nov. 7) and Hartford (Nov. 12).
