Baltimore, MD - The NJIT women's volleyball team fell to UMBC on Sunday in straight sets.

The Retrievers won the opening set 25-16, before taking the second and third sets 25-21 and 25,11, respectively.

Adriana Goetz-Morales led the Highalnders with nine kills, while Emma Godwin recorded seven and Cami Augustine tallied six.

Juliana Impaglia's 25 assists paced the squad on Sunday.

The Highlanders return to the court next Friday when they host New Hampshire. First serve is set for 6pm in the Wellness and Events Center in Newark.
