NEWARK, NJ - Dylan O'Hearn, an incoming junior college transfer on the NJIT men's basketball team, spoke with Matt Provence about his excitement to join the Highlanders, what drew him to NJIT, and his path to play Division I basketball.

O'Hearn, born in Canada and raised outside of Detroit, MI, has two years of eligibility remaining after playing two seasons at Western Oklahoma State College, where he flourished as a scorer. The 6'4 guard finished 11th in the NJCAA in scoring, averaging 23.1 ppg, helping him earn First Team All-Region II honors.
