NEWARK, NJ—NJIT will look to continue its win streak on Friday when the Highlanders visit No. 11 Princeton at Dillon Gymnasium in EIVA Men's Volleyball action. First spike is set for 7pm on ESPN+.

Princeton defeated NJIT on Saturday, February 7, in Newark, NJ, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 26-24).
Scouting NJIT
NJIT, winners of two in a row, is 8-5 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. NJIT is coming off a pair of 3-0 victories against Harvard and Sacred Heart last week.
Junior captain
Alvaro Gimeno leads NJIT in kills with 165 (3.67kps, which ranks third in the EIVA), 66 digs and 23 service aces.
Sophomore setter
Roque Nido paces the team in assists with 437 (9.71apg, which ranks third in the league) and
Luca Berger leads the team in blocks with 54, while ranking second in the EIVA.
Scouting Princeton
Princeton, winners of its last seven out of eight matches, enters Friday's match with a 9-5 mark on the season and 7-1 in Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA).
The Tigers have won four straight, most recently a weekend sweep against Sacred Heart and Harvard.
Princeton is led in kills by senior George Huhmann with 172. Huhmann also leads the Tigers in service aces with 29 while junior Joe Kelly has team-highs in assists and digs with 500 and 75.
Jerod Nelsen was named EIVA Defensive Player of the Week, marking Nelsen's third weekly honor of the season. He was named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, February 2, and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Player of the Week on Tuesday, February 3.
