NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT men's basketball team is slated to open its 2020-21 schedule on Saturday, December 19, at Temple University in Philadelphia. 

The Highlanders and Owls will tip-off at 4:30pm in Temple's on-campus Liacourous Center.

The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+, the same platform that will stream all of NJIT's home and America East games this season. 

This marks the second all-time meeting between NJIT and Temple, with the Owls winning the first-ever contest 68-63 on December 17, 2016. The Highlanders are 1-5 against teams from the American Athletic Conference.
