Scouting Kennesaw
KSU heads into Tuesday afternoon's match with a 7-5 record against a difficult schedule thus far. Half of the Owls' 12 matches have come against Power 5 opponents, with KSU earning victories vs. Georgia Tech and at Alabama. Kennesaw St. is coming off of a pair of losses as it fell to Maryland and South Carolina in straight sets last weekend. Three Owls -Lauren Chastang, Quin Sutphin and Emma Schurfranz– have each surpassed the 100-kill plateau this season, with Chastang's 184 (3.76 k/s) topping the leaderboard. Lexi Broadwater is the squad's setter and enters Tuesday's match averaging 11.04 a/s and her 541 total assists lead the NCAA. Defensively, Karlee Groover ranks fifth in the ASun averaging 4.22 d/s.

Series History
Tuesday's match will be the ninth meeting between the Highlanders and Owls, and KSU has won the previous eight including both matchups last season.

UP NEXT
Following the match against the Owls, the Highlanders will return to the court on Sunday when they host North Alabama in ASun action at 12pm back in the WEC.
