2019: Played in 31 of the team's 32 matches during her first season at NJIT...selected to the All-Tournament Team at both the Tiger Classic and the Sacred Heart Invitational...finished second on the squad in kills (207) and kills per set (2.09)...collected the fourth-most digs on the team (91)...recorded season-bests in kills (17) and digs (12) for a double-double in a win vs. FDU (9/7)...tallied five blocks at Sacred Heart (9/13).
Prior to NJIT: Merritt capped a stellar high school volleyball career by leading Santa Fe Catholic to their first district title since 1995, clinching the final set by registering the final three points, including the match-winner. ...the 6-foot-1 outside hitter was named 2018 The Ledger Player of the Year, Polk County first-team (all four seasons) and All-District first-team (2016, 2017, 2018).. ...she led Polk County in kills in three-of-her-four years, concluding her senior campaign with 273 kills and 229 digs. ...Merritt played club for USAV
