NEW HAVEN, CT—The NJIT men's tennis team recorded its second straight 4-1 victory against Marist Sunday afternoon to conclude the Yale Invitational.

Ira Miller added. "Strong in doubles and very solid at the top of the lineup in singles."
NJIT continued its momentum into Sunday's match, earning the doubles point from Marist with wins at the first and second spot while notching victories at first, second and third singles for the 4-1 victory.
NJIT pair
Zac Castagna and
Aleksa Petrovic were 6-3 winners at first doubles. Castagna was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at third singles over John Oxner 6-4, 6-1.
Highlander duo
Lukas Zvikas and
George Svensson teamed for a 6-2 victory at second doubles. Zvikas won in straight sets at first singles, topping Lars Schouten, 6-3, 6-2.
NJIT's
Abdullah Fouad was a 6-2, 6-4 winner at second singles, topping Christopher Gladden.
NJIT will return to action on Saturday at 10am when the Highlanders open ASUN Conference action against Stetson inside The Naimoli Family and Athletic Recreational Facility.
