NEW HAVEN, CT—The NJIT men's tennis team registered a 4-1 victory against Fairfield on Saturday afternoon hosted by Yale.

NJIT started off the match, earning the doubles point, with victories at second and third doubles. Highlander duo
Lukas Zvikas and
George Svensson notched a 6-3 win at the second spot while
Abdullah Fouad and
Juan Bejarano teamed for a 6-4 win at the third spot.
In singles action, Zvikas was a double-winner, earning a three-set victory at first singles over Tyler Shibles, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
At second singles,
Abdullah Fouad, another double-winner for NJIT, defeated Fairfield's Lewis Edwards 6-4, 7-5.
Co-captain
Zac Castagna topped Jeffrey Rodgers 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at third singles to secure a point for the Highlanders.
NJIT will return to action on Sunday against Marist at 10am.

Juan Bejarano lost to John Hatala 6-3, 6-1.
