PHILADELPHIA--NJIT men's and women's fencing had four players finish in the top nine of their respected weapons this weekend at the Temple Open.

In the women's epee, NJIT had two Highlanders finish in the top five -- sophomore Marina Arrese, who finished tied for third and freshman Dominika Pawlowska, who placed fifth.

Sophomore Paloma Almodovar placed eighth in the women's foil competition.

On the men's side, Brett Bogert finished in ninth on the men's epee strip.
