JACKSONVILLE, FL - The NJIT women's volleyball team dropped a straight-set match to North Florida in ASUN Conference action on Saturday, October 5.
UNF took the first set 25-14, before winning the second and third 25-12 and 25-19, respectively, to clinch the match.
The Ospreys attacked at an impressive .400 percentage in the match, while NJIT was held to a .111 hitting percentage. UNF also recorded six blocks, to the Highlanders' one and doubled NJIT in service aces, 4-2. 
Three freshmen led the Highlanders offensively, as 
Adriana Goetz-Morales, 
Susan Blake and 
Courtney Branch combined for 17 of the team's 25 kills.
The Highlanders return to action on Friday, October 11, when they travel to Lynchburg, VA, to take on Liberty in another ASUN match.
