PHILADELPHIA, PA - Two members of the NJIT men's tennis team wrapped up action at the 2019 ITA Northeast Regionals on Saturday. The event is being hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.

Junior captain Abdullah Fouad recorded a victory on  his final day of competition at the event, while freshman Tin Dizdarevic was defeated.

Fouad earned a hard-fought, three-set (5-7. 7-5. 10-4) victory over an opponent from Temple. 

"Abdullah showed veteran experience coming back from a set down," said Head Coach Ira Miller. "The tiebreaker was the final exclamation point."

Dizdarevic dropped his final match 6-3. 6-1 to an opponent from the host Quakers.

The Highlanders wrap up their fall schedule at the Army Shootout over the first weekend in November.
