DeLand, FL - The NJIT women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets by host Stetson in ASUN Conference action on Friday, October 18.
The Hatters won the first two sets 25-15, before taking the third 25-9 to win their third-straight ASUN match after dropping four in a row to open conference play.
Stetson had an impressive offensive match, hitting .460, while holding the Highlanders to a .115 hitting percentage.
Leading the way for NJIT was 
Madi Busler, who recorded seven kills, while 
Susan Blake tallied six of her own. 
Juliana Impaglia and 
Liz Benson shared the setting duties, dishing out 13 and 10 assists, respectively. 
The Highlanders return to action on Saturday with another ASUN contest in Florida against FGCU. First serve is slated for 6pm in Ft. Myers.Â
