NASHVILLE, TN – NJIT men's tennis lost 4-3 in a close match to ASUN opponent Lipscomb on Friday afternoon.

The Highlanders took the doubles point winning two out of three matches.

Tomi Antoljak and Zac Castagna won in second doubles defeating Jorge Ortegon and Francesco Tacconi 6-4 and in third doubles Richard Rangga and Aleksa Petrovic won against Daniel Cardenas and Pedro Uribe in an identical 6-4 score.

Senior Rangga picked up another win in sixth singles over Tacconi 6-3, 6-3.

NJIT's other win came from Lukas Zvikas who posted a comeback win against Ortegon in third singles 5-7, 7-6(0), 7-6(3).

The Highlanders will wait and see their seeding for the ASUN Men's Tennis Conference Tournament, April 20-22 held at North Florida.
