KENNESAW, GA – NJIT men's tennis fell 6-1 to ASUN opponent Kennesaw State on Thursday afternoon.
Head coach
Ira Miller had comments on the match, "Kennesaw wins 6-1. Played well in doubles. Just missed getting the doubles point. They were strong at the top of the lineup, but we were so close at the bottom. Senior captain rich Rangga won in singles and doubles."
The Highlanders lost the doubles point, but were able to come out with a win in third doubles with
Richard Rangga and
Aleksa Petrovic picking up the win over Lucas de Torres Curth and Corey Smith 7-6.
Rangga also grabbed a win in singles, by retirement in the first set against Manuel Castellanos.
