PHILADELPHIA – NJIT men's lacrosse dropped a 14-5 decision to host Saint Joseph's on a cold Friday night at Sweeney Field.
Leading the Highlanders was junior attackman
Cole Robillard, who recorded his first career hat-trick.
Aaron Forster tallied a goal and an assist, prolonging his point scoring streak to 22 games. The junior is one away from netting his 100
th career point.
Adding points for NJIT were
Ryan Darrow who notched and goal and
Ryan Kaden,
Max Wilson and
Vincent D'Agostino supplied assists.
Sophomore
John Tachon grabbed a game-high five ground balls and one caused turnover.
For the Hawks Mike Rastivo tallied a game high five points on two goals and three assists, while teammate Shane Fable earned himself three goals and one assist.
Billy Jardeleza owed the face-off circle winning 12-of-15 attempts.
Goalie
Nick Marzullo grabbed nine saves for the Highlanders, while Pat Dallon made eight saves in his first start and win of the season and Tucker Almany one save for Saint Joseph's.
Next for the Highlanders is Fairfield on Tuesday, March 20 for a 3pm game.
