NEW HAVEN, CT – NJIT men's tennis won their second consecutive match when they defeated Marist 4-3 on Sunday hosted at Yale.

Ira Miller said about the match. "Minus our top two players everyone stepped up and battled. Great job, team and great job Aleksa who was 5-1 down in the deciding tiebreaker and came back to win for the team 8-6.
The Highlanders won in first doubles with
Aleksa Petrovic and teammate
Abdullah Fouad defeated Rudolf Kurz and Max Darrington 6-2.
Fouad and Petrovic also picked up a victories in singles play.
In second singles Fouad defeated Kurz again winning 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, while Petrovic won against Darrington in fifth singles 6-3, 6-7(5-7), 7-6(8-6).
Richard Rangga beat Paulo Siracusa 6-4, 6-0 in fourth singles and
George Svensson picked up another win for the Highlanders defeating Carlos Moreno in sixth singles in a comeback 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
The Highlanders head south for spring break, with matches against West Florida on March 15 and New Orleans on March 17.
