ASUN Conference Official Release

LAKEPOINT, GA—NJIT's Lukas Zvikas earned his first career ASUN Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance last week the league office announced.

Zvikas joins Markus Schultz as the only other Highlander to garner an ASUN Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week award.

The junior from Siaulini, Lithuania finished the week a combined 3-0 as the Highlanders defeated Fairleigh Dickinson and Drexel.

Zvikas opened with a 7-5, 6-2 win vs. Drexel's Sinan Orhon at No. 3 singles and tacked on a doubles win with Richard Rangga at No. 2 vs. FDU's William Bourne & Yousesef Sader, 6-2.

He completed a perfect week with three-set win vs. FDU's Sader, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

NJIT, which sits at 3-0 on the season, host Bryant on February 17 at 1pm in The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
