KENNESAW, GA—Kennesaw State swept visiting NJIT, 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-14), in ASUN Conference women's volleyball action Sunday afternoon at the Convocation Center.
Kennesaw State (10-0 ASUN, 19-4 overall) was led by Sydni Shelton, who posted 10 kills on 25 swings, hitting .360 for the match.
Setter Lexi Broadwater registered 28 assists and five digs while Karlee Groover paced the Owls with 15 digs.
In front of the net, Quin Sutphin recorded four total blocks (one solo, three assists).
For NJIT,
Madi Busler led the Highlanders with five kills while setters
Liz Benson and
Marissa Soistman recorded eight and six assists.
Busler and Benson paced the Highlanders defensively with six digs apiece.
