SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – NJIT men's soccer dropped a 1-0 non-conference match to Seton Hall on Tuesday night.
The Pirates move to 5-4-2, while the Highlanders drop to 6-8.
After a scoreless first half, Seton Hall got on the board in the 53
rd minute with a goal by Francisco Alderete his first of the season.
The Highlanders fought back till the very end of the game, gaining two scoring opportunities in the final 10 minutes, coming from
Thomas Radon and a
Jack Flanagan that were both save by Pirate goalie Andreas Nota.
Tristan Parker made his first appearance as a Highlander and tallied five saves in the loss, while Pirate keeper Nota also produced five saves.
The Highlanders return to conference play on Saturday for a 3pm match against Lipscomb a Kean University East Campus.
