JACKSONVILLE, FL—North Florida (13-6, 5-0 ASUN) swept visiting NJIT (7–12, 1-4 ASUN), 7-0, to remain undefeated in ASUN Conference action, Saturday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex.
The Highlanders were unable to gain any momentum in the doubles competition, as North Florida took the doubles point, winning at second and third doubles, 6-1, and 6-0, respectively.
In the singles competition,
Jan Cimrman turned in a strong effort at second singles, but ultimately fell to North Florida's Jefta Kecic (ranked #107), in a three set tilt, 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.
NJIT's
Lukas Zvikas took Yannick Zuern to a three-set tilt of his own, but it was Zuern, who earned the victory, defeating Zvikas, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7, at the third spot.
Junior
Richard Rangga also dropped a three-set match against North Florida's Jonathan Deautriell 6-2, 4-6, 10-3 at the fifth spot.

NJIT will look to end its three-match skid on Friday, April 14, when the Highlanders travel to Clinton, SC to take on Presbyterian in a non-conference matchup. The match will begin at 2 pm.
