The NJIT women will look for its first Atlantic Sun Conference sweep on Wednesday, when the Highlanders visit Lipscomb, with tip set for 7:30 pm (EST).

With eight of the A-Sun regular games in the book, the Highlanders will return to Newark and conclude the home portion of its schedule hosting, Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 13) and Stetson (Feb. 15) before closing out the regular season with a trip to Jacksonville and Spartanburg.

SERIES
The Highlanders lead the series, 1-0, after, picking up their first A-Sun victory against Lipscomb on February 4 in Newark, 61-51, led by Leah Horton's eighth double-double of the season--15 points and program-record 20 rebounds.

SCOUTING THE LADY BISONS
The Lady Bisons, looking to snap a 17-game skid, is coming off a 93-71 defeat at USC Upstate on February 6.  Senior Chandler Cooper paced the Purple and Gold with 15 points, including three three-pointers, four rebounds, and three steals.  Lipscomb won three games in the month of November against Georgia Southern (66-55), Murray State (93-85) and North Alabama (88-67).

Redshirt senior Ashley Southern, who is averaging, 19.0 ppg and 9.8 rpg, has been sidelined for the last seven contests with a stress fracture.  The 6-foot-1 forward, who transferred to Lipscomb in 2012-13 from Chattanooga, set a program-NCAA record for rebounds in a single game with 20 against Loyola (MD) in the first game of the season for Lipscomb.  Her 19.0 ppg and 9.8 rpg ranks second in the conference.

Head Coach Greg Brown, in his fourth season at the helm of the Lady Bisons, spent five seasons at University of University of Central Florida and two years (2007, 2008) as an assistant before being elevated to associate head coach in 2009.  He served two season at University of Tennessee under Hall of Fame Coach Pat Summit, first as a graduate assistant, before being promoted to assistant coach in 2003-04.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
The Highlanders, despite playing without leading scorer and rebounder Leah Horton, who was out with an injury, the NJIT women's basketball team gave a valiant effort behind career-best performances from sisters Alana Dudley (24 points) and Olivia Dudley (18 points), before falling to Kennesaw State, 82-77, in double overtime in an Atlantic Sun Conference contest Saturday.

The Highlanders (4-19, 1-7 A-Sun) got a career-best 24 points from junior guard Alana Dudley, who added eight assists, one shy of the personal-best nine she recorded in the previous game (the home win over Lipscomb). Sister Olivia Dudley posted a career-best 18 points, surpassing her old mark of 15 points at Binghamton (11.16.15) and Columbia (1.11.16) and also added a new personal best five rebounds.

Redshirt freshman guard Kelly Guarino was tough from the perimeter, connecting on five three-pointers en route to 21 points.
