2015-16: Atlantic Sun Conference All Freshman Team. … making a long road back from her third major knee injury since Guarino began high school, she becomes the first NJIT women's basketball player to receive postseason honors since NJIT joined the Atlantic Sun Conference. …she ranks second on the team in points (8.2 ppg).  …recorded three 20+ scoring performances, including a career-best 24 points after connecting on 7 of her 16 3-point field goal attempts and 8-for-17 from the floor overall against Virginia, from the highly-regarded Atlantic Coast Conference on December 5. …She has connected on at least one three-pointer in 24 of NJIT's 30 contests (high of 7 at Virginia). …ranks fourth in the A-Sun in three-point percentage (35.4) and three-point field goals made (total 62 | 2.2 per game). …Guarino moves into third all-time in the Division I era at NJIT with 62 three-point baskets made in a single season.
 
2014-15: After suffering three ACL tears in high school, Guarino will redshirt the 2014-15 season at NJIT to rehabilitate her left knee.

Before NJIT:  Guarino, who did not play in her junior season at Albertus Magnus High School in Rockland County, NY, due to injury, earned New York State Sportswriters Association All-State, All-League and All-Section during her sophomore and senior seasons. ...In her final season, Guarino was selected all-Hudson Valley/Westchester and on the All-Metro team. ... played AAU for the Hudson Valley Elite.
