Tim Coleman and
Damon Lynn were selected as Male Co-Athletes of the Week for their performances through February 8.
The Highlanders went 2-0 this week in the Atlantic Sun Conference with help from juniors Coleman and Lynn.
In NJIT's 90-78 win against Lipscomb on Monday Lynn tallied 26 points, five assists and five steals, while Coleman added 14 points, five rebounds and five assists.
The duo did it again in the Highlanders 78-59 win over Kennesaw State on Saturday. Lynn finished with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Coleman produced his fifth double-double of the year scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Coleman, from Union, NJ, leads the team in rebounds with 181 and blocks with 22, and ranks second on the team in points behind Lynn with 360. Coleman ranks fifth in the Atlantic Sun in rebounds per game (7.2), total rebounds (181) and blocks (22), and ranks fourth in steals (39).
Lynn, from Hillside, NJ, leads the team in points with 452 and steals with 42. Lynn also ranks in the top five in seven categories in the Atlantic Sun Conference, three-pointers made (2
