NJIT will conclude its second trip to Florida on Monday at 7pm when the Highlanders visit North Florida at 7pm.

Having completed its home schedule, NJIT will close the regular season slate with two Atlantic Sun Conference away games. NJIT will visit North Florida on Monday at 7pm. 

In the first meeting, North Florida defeated NJIT, 68-51, in Newark.  The Osprey's hold a 2-0 all-time record against the Highlanders.  The two teams met in the first year of Division I for the Highlanders (2006-07) at the Longwood Tournament.  The Ospreys went on to win, 52-46.

Every team qualifies for the Atlantic Sun Conference championship tournament, which begins on March 4 with the quarterfinal round at the campus sites of the top four seeded teams.  The top five seeds have been determined—Florida Gulf Coast, clinched first followed by No. 2 USC Upstate, No. 3 Jacksonville, No. 4 Stetson and No. 5 Kennesaw State.

SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
North Florida (6-21, 2-10) enter Monday's contest on an eight-game losing streak, its most recent loss, against USC Upstate, 75-61.  Senior Kadesia Johnson led a quartet of double-figure scorers with a career-high 18 points with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 37 minutes of play.
 
Junior point guard Claire Ioannidis leads the Ospreys from three-point range with 71 three-point field goals made.  As a team, North Florida sank 183 three-point field goals and recorded at least one three-pointer in 27 consecutive games dating back to the 2014-15 season.

Darrick Gibbs, in his first season, took over the Ospreys after a 10-year stint as an assistant coach at University of Miami.  During his decade at Miami, Gibbs guided the Hurricanes to six consecutive postseason appearances including four trips to the NCAA.

Others can access ESPN3 through WatchESPN if they receive ESPN programming from an affiliated service provider. Those users need to provide the username and password they use in online communication with their regular service provider (can usually be found on regular billing material from the service provider).
