LEXINGTON, KY—The American Volleyball Coaches Association recognized both the NJIT men's and women's volleyball teams for the AVCA's annual team academic awards covering the 2014-15 academic year, the AVCA announced.
Both Highlander teams earned their second straight team academic award, maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.30 for the academic year.
The NJIT women were one of 148 NCAA Division I programs and the NJIT men were one of only seven men's teams recognized covering all Divisions to receive the accolade for the 2014-15 season.
