CONCORDIA, NY—Concordia (NY), #7 in the latest Division II Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, defeated visiting NJIT, 8-1, Wednesday evening in the final match of the season for the Highlanders.
Concordia, which captured its sixth straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, completed a perfect season (6-0) in the CACC. Concordia will compete at the 2015 NCAA East Regional finals on May 2 against Queens or Chestnut Hill, to earn a spot in the NCAA Round of 16 in Arizona.

Jan Cimrman recorded the Highlanders only point of the match in a straight set victory at the third spot, 6-2, 6-4, topping Lorenzo Montegiorgi.
The Highlanders wrap up its 2015 campaign with a 10-8 overall mark and 7-0 at home.
