Freshman guard
Kelly Guarino ranks second at 7.7 ppg and leads the team in three-point field goals made (7). Guarino was NJIT's top scorer at Marshall, scoring a career-best 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field, with all five field goals coming from behind the arc (four in the first half).
Sophomore center
Maria Ruban, standing at 6-foot-5, paces the Highlanders on the boards, averaging 7.3 rpg.

Destiny Marino, the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) co-Rookie of the Year in 2014-15, paces the Lady Bears in points (15.3 ppg) and field goal percentage (.468).
Senior guard
Erica Eddy is second on the team, averaging 14.3 ppg, while freshman guard Victoria Porcasi is the third Lady Bear averaging double-digits with 12.5 ppg. Junior

HEAD COACH TOM FLAHIVEAlumnus
Tom Flahive '75 takes over a team that won the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2014-15 with a 17-12 mark. Flahive joins the Lady Bears after two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Division I St. Peter's University from 2011 to 2013, where he was responsible for all aspects of recruiting, scheduling and team travel as well as preparing scouting reports.
SKYLINE CONFERNCE PRESEASON COACHES' POLLSt. Joseph's, which held a dual membership in the small-college organization United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and in NCAA Division III Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference last season, opens a new era in 2015-16 in the Skyline Conference. The Bears were picked to finish sixth in the preseason coaches' poll.
