WEST CHESTER, PA - The TCNJ Lions relied on the scoring touch of Kevin Collins, who netted two goals, to beat the NJIT Highlanders, 4-1.
NJIT's power play was ineffective as TCNJ's penalty box was a popular destination as the Lions totaled six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. TCNJ had been averaging 11.0 minutes in penalties per game, and although they more than doubled that total they excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.
TCNJ additionally got points from Salvatore Dibrita, who also registered one goal and one assist and Peter Hansinger also scored. More assists for the Lions came via Nicholas Mancini and Matthew Liebers, who each chipped in one.

Michael Crincoli, scored 1:11 into the third period to make the score 3-1 while freshman
Michael Barrera picked up the assist.
Patrick Tso recorded 36 saves for TCNJ and
Andrew Irizarry stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced at the opposite end.
