Prudential Center - Sunday 1/16/11; NJIT 5, UPenn 2:  NJIT wins the opener with a balanced scoring attack and solid goaltending by Michael Lipinski.

Goals by Jason Anagnos, Robert Amos, Christian Corey, Alex Guimares and the game winner by Christopher Oertel, made the final score look easier than it was. 

Down 2-1 at the end of the first period NJIT scored once to tie it up in the 2nd.  Three tallies late in the 3rd against a tired UPENN squad were the difference. 

Assists were earned by Corrado Mancini (3), Guimares, Amos, Christopher Pawlik, Nicholas Naumovski and Michael Melillo.

Class of '23 Rink - Monday 1/17/11; NJIT 8, UPenn 5: NJIT completes the sweep with an 8-5 win.

Led by Edward Viokur with a hat trick, the Highlanders scored early and often on their way to defeating UPENN for the second straight day. 

Anagnos and James Wintjen, each chipped in with 2 goals and Mancini rounded it out with a lone tally.  

Nicholas Raite notched his first victory of the season with 31 saves and the boys were off to Pats & Genos for some well deserved Philly Cheese-Steaks. 

Amos led the team with three assists - all on Vinokur's goals - while Mancini, Adam Finkle, Corey, Daniel Smith and Naumovski each had one.
