NEWARK, NJ -- A quick start and an early lead, courtesy of Nicholas Wujek were wasted as the Princeton Tigers, led by Quintin Sally, with a hat trick and two assists, came roaring back with four straight goals, to take control of the game in a 6-3 win over the Highlanders.
NJIT clawed their way back into contention with two straight goals of their own, both by Corrado Mancini to cut the lead to 4-3 with 6:03 left to play.
Quintin Sally finished off his hat trick at the 2:31 mark and Dan Katz completed the scoring with just under two minutes to go.
Robert Amos and Wujek each had a pair of assists, with Stan Pilny contributing an assist as well.
Next weekend the Highlanders host Bucknell and TCNJ at Prudential Center.
