FORT MYERS, FL – Colgate took four of the six singles matches and two out of three doubles contests for a 5-2 men's tennis win over New Jersey Institute of Technology Monday afternoon at the Florida Gulf Coast Tennis Complex.

Junior Steve Erickson led the way for the Highlanders, scoring a 6-4, 6-2 win at second singles and then combined with Anthony Tunnero for an 8-6 win at second doubles.  Also capturing a win was Cosmin Chiujdea at third singles 7-6, 6-3, for the Highlanders.

NJIT will face host Florida Gulf Coast University Wednesday afternoon.
