TENAFLY, NJ -- The New Jersey Institute of Technology's women's tennis team extended its winning streak to four straight wins, defeating Howard 6-1 Saturday night at Tenafly Racquet Club.

The Highlanders, now 6-1, won five out of six singles contests and swept in doubles.

Senior Iulia Doci continued to dominate at first singles defeating Howard's Ashley Moore, 6-0, 6-1 and winning first doubles with Ana Lidon 8-6.

Freshman Anine Lovdal, appearing in her third match since joining the Highlanders this semester, was a winner at second singles, 6-0, 6-3 and second doubles as she teamed up with Fanny Aizier, 9-7. Aizier picked up a victory at fourth singles and Isha Toor added a win at fifth singles. 

NJIT will return to action when they travel to Princeton on February 20.  The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm.
