Millersville 4 - NJIT 1

NEWARK, NJ -- The winning streak ended as quickly as it began when Millersville, looking to avenge a defeat when these two teams met in October, came out flying.

NJIT, feeling the effects of a sloppy game the night before couldn't get untracked in the first period and a half as the Marauders jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

From that point on NJIT held their own and even outshot the Marauders the rest of the way. Unfortunately they couldn't find the back of the net until late in the game when Andrew Kaczur with a real show of heart and determination dove to tap a puck in over the line and break the shut-out. By that time Millersville had already added another goal to even the season series at 1 game apiece.

The lone assists went to Stan Pilny & Ryan Calabro.
