NJIT vs. Kutztown @ Prudential Center

The Highlanders came out strong in the first period and despite allowing the Golden Bears to score first, looked like they had command of the game.

Mike Mellilo, assisted by Kevin McMorrow, put the home team on the board with his 2nd goal in as many games and the game was tied 1-1.

The lone goal in the middle period was scored by Kutztown as they too the lead for good.

Late in the 3rd period Alex Guimaraes jammed in a rebound and the lead was back to one at 3-2.

Unfortunately, despite pulling the goalie and applying intense pressure NJIT couldn't manage to tie it up once more and fell to Kutztown for the second time this year.
