STATEN ISLAND, NY – The NJIT women's swimming team traveled and lost to Wagner College Friday evening.

Senior captain Teresa Higgins came in third in the 200 yard freestyle and500 yard freestyle for NJIT.

Freshman Michelle Velez produced two fourth-place finishes in the 200 yard IM and 100 yard backstroke.

The Highlanders return to the pool next Sunday when they head to Fairfield, Connecticut and face Fairfield.
