On the strength of 5 power play and 1 short-handed goal the host Mules beat the Highlanders at Lehigh Valley Friday night in a game marred by over 100 minutes of penalties.  

The lone highlights for the Highlanders include 2 power  play goals, 1 each by Chris Pawlik, and Andrew Kaczur, some stellar penalty killing by Chis Sala during 2 separate 5 on 3 situations and a strong showing in net by freshman Mike Lipinski in the last 10 minutes of the game.  

Next up is a trip to the Big Apple as the Highlanders cross the Hudson to take on local rivals NYU at Chelsea Piers on Friday at 8:30 PM
