Playing against last year's league champs, the Highlanders kept the score close for the 1st half of the game, but eventually as fatigue set in, the University of Scranton opened it up on their way to a 6-0 victory.  

The Royals are one of two programs in the league to have an ACHA D-I team as well as a D-II team (Rutgers being the other).   

The Royals are the champs for a reason - they have the skaters.  

Battles were fought and lessons were learned as NJIT aims to close the gap in the next meeting when Scranton comes to the Prudential Center.
