Men’s Soccer goalie Victor Pujades was named NJIT Male Athlete of the Week for his performances in the Highlanders two games last week.

The junior tallied seven saves in the Highlanders win against Navy and Rider.

On August 27 Pujades stopped three shots against Navy in the Highlanders 2-1 win, and then grabbed his second shutout of the season with four saves in NJIT’s 1-0 win at Rider.

Pujades was named ASUN Conference Defensive Player of the Week, and leads the ASUN with a 0.33 GAA and is second in save percentage (.889).
