New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

Fencer Simon Rizell was selected as NJIT Athlete of the Week for his performance at the MACFA Championships on Sunday.
 
The senior won his fourth consecutive foil title at the MACFA Championships held at Lafayette.
 
The NJIT foil squad went undefeated in every bout during the team round accumulating a 42-0 overall record, winning the foil the championship.
 
The Highlander as a team placed second overall to Johns Hopkins, despite defeating the Blue Jays and all other 13 teams at the championships, earning 110 wins to Hopkins 111.
 
The NJIT men’s fencing team ended the regular season undefeated.
